Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of TeamHQ, a team-management service for youth sports. By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

Your account

• You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. Accounts for athletes aged 13–17 are set up and overseen by a parent or guardian's household.
• You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for activity under your account.
• Provide accurate information — especially emergency contacts, which coaches rely on.

Acceptable use

TeamHQ is for organizing your teams. Don't use it to harass others, post unlawful content, probe or disrupt the service, access data that isn't yours, or send spam. We may suspend accounts that do.

Your content

You own what you post — messages, photos, documents, team data. You grant us the limited license needed to store and display it to the teammates you share it with. Team staff control team-level data (schedules, rosters, invoices) for their team. We don't use your content for advertising or to train AI models.

Payments

Team dues and registration fees are processed by Stripe. Teams that collect money through TeamHQ receive payouts via their own Stripe account; TeamHQ charges a platform fee on payments collected through the service (the current rate is shown before you set up payments). Refunds of team dues are between you and your team's organizers — we can help facilitate but don't control team treasuries. Stripe's own terms apply to payment processing.

The service

• TeamHQ is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it fast and available but don't guarantee uninterrupted service.
• The built-in assistant can summarize and answer questions about your team data; it can make mistakes. Verify anything important (like a game time) against the schedule itself.
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the twelve months before a claim.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time (Account → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On deletion, your data is removed as described in the Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be noted on this page with an updated date. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the new terms.
